Designed to mold adept professional managers, the two-year MBA program blends a robust analytical foundation with academic flexibility. The first year introduces essential models and tools, while the second year allows customization through core and elective courses, culminating in practical application during a rigorous Summer Internship.
Admission Process:
Prospective candidates can register for the MBA (Full-Time) Programme 2024-26 on the FMS website, filling the online registration form within the specified timeframe. The selection process involves shortlisting based on the Weighted CAT 2023 Score, considering diversity and gender. The final selection evaluates academic performance, Statement of Purpose, Extempore, and Personal Interview.
Selection Criteria and Calculation:
- Short-listing for Interview:
- A Weighted Score computed with weightages of 40%, 30%, and 30% for VARC, DILR, and QA sections respectively.
- Additional 5 marks for women candidates.
- Selection Criteria:
- Weighted CAT 2023 Score – 50%
- Marks obtained in Class X – 10%:
- 60% and above but less than 75%: 5%
- 75% and above: 10%
- Marks obtained in Class XII – 10%:
- 60% and above but less than 75%: 5%
- 75% and above: 10%
- Discussion on Statement of Purpose – 10%
- Extempore – 5%
- Personal Interview – 15%
- Additional 5 marks for women candidates.
- Interview Process:
- May be held in online mode.
- Non-CAT Applicants:
- Applicants not taking CAT 2023 will not be considered for admission.
The interview process may be conducted online, and candidates must produce original certificates and mark sheets at the interview. The final list of selected candidates will be declared after completing the process for all candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have pursued a Bachelor’s Degree program after twelve years of formal schooling, with a minimum of 50% marks at the graduation level. Those in the final year can also apply, provided they meet eligibility criteria upon results declaration.
Financial Aspects:
The fee for the MBA program is approximately Rs. 50,000 per semester, subject to revision as per University guidelines.
Reservations/Relaxations:
FMS adheres to University of Delhi guidelines for reservations. The MBA Full-Time 2024-25 program includes supernumerary seats for PWD, CW, FS, WT, WNT, and OQ categories.
