A magazine, in the process of rating six different bikes, surveyed 10 customers of each of these bikes, who had been using the bike for the last two years. Each of them was supposed to respond to two qualities – mileage and durability – of the bikes. Based on the number of positive responses (P.Rs), the magazine assigned grades and gave points for each of the above qualities as follows:
P.Rs | Grade | Points |
---|---|---|
0, 1, 2 | P | P.Rs × 1 |
3, 4, 5 | Q | P.Rs × 2 |
6, 7, 8 | R | P.Rs × 3 |
9, 10 | S | P.Rs × 4 |
The results of the survey are listed as follows:
Bike | P.Rs in Durability | P.Rs in Mileage | Total P.Rs | Total Points |
---|---|---|---|---|
Yamaha | 9 | 24 | ||
Suzuki | 18 | |||
Honda | 23 | |||
Kawasaki | 7 | |||
Harley | 3 | |||
Enfield | 8 | 16 | ||
