IIM Lucknow MBA-ABM RTI Data

This page is built for what aspirants actually search: category-wise shortlist composite score, final selection score / final offer data, admitted students, and waitlist status for IIM Lucknow MBA-ABM.

2025-27 RTI data 2024-26 RTI data 2023-25 RTI data Official current admission policy included

IIM Lucknow’s official website now presents this programme as MBA-ABM, while older RTI replies still use PGP-ABM. For students, both point to the same agribusiness management programme. This page keeps the RTI data batch-wise and also shows the current official admission framework separately.

Latest completed RTI snapshot

The latest completed RTI cycle available here is for the 2025-27 batch.

Latest batch
2025-27

Latest RTI reply used on this page for MBA-ABM.

Applicants

3,033

Total shortlisted candidates across categories.

Final offers
267

Total final offers reflected in the RTI reply.

Final admits

What stands out: In the last three RTI cycles on this page, the final admitted count moved from 63 (2023-25) to 59 (2024-26) to 57 (2025-27). Also, the 2024-26 and 2025-27 RTI replies explicitly say no waitlist was generated.

Official IIM Lucknow process now: MBA-ABM

This block is based on the official current admission policy and the official programme page, not the RTI replies.

Programme

Official programme name now

The official IIM Lucknow programme page presents it as MBA-ABM, a two-year, full-time, residential programme. Students meeting the requirements are awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration – Agribusiness Management.

Important admission note

Special form is mandatory

Candidates seeking admission to MBA-ABM must fill and submit the Special MBA-ABM / MBA-SM form by the stipulated deadline, otherwise they are not considered for the WAT-PI process.

Above table is from the current official 2026-28 admission policy for MBA-ABM.

Shortlist stage

How shortlist score is built for MBA-ABM

  • Scaled CAT score: 60
  • Class 12 marks: 10
  • Graduation marks: 10
  • Work experience: 0
  • Academic diversity factor: up to 20
  • Gender diversity factor: present, but total diversity cap for MBA-ABM stays 20
Final stage

How final selection score is built for MBA-ABM

  • CAT: 35
  • Academic performance (12M + GM): 5 + 5
  • Diversity factor: 5
  • Work experience: NA
  • WAT: 10
  • PI: 40
Very important: For MBA-ABM, work experience is not carrying weight the way many students assume. In the current official policy, it is 0 at shortlist stage and not counted in final score.

1) Minimum composite score for WAT-PI shortlist

For RTI reading purposes, this minimum shortlist composite score is the most practical shortlist cutoff reference.

Batch EWS General NC-OBC SC ST PwD note
2025-27 37.0614705 48.3949286 34.8455608 25.5263372 15.3044561 PwD split shown separately below

Trend read: For the five main categories, the 2025-27 RTI data shows higher minimum shortlist scores than 2024-26. General moved from 43.4497 to 48.3949, while NC-OBC moved from 30.9445 to 34.8456.

2) Minimum final score of admitted students

This is the more practical final-convert reference after interviews. Read year-to-year carefully because interview normalization can affect scale.

Important: Do not compare shortlist minimum score and final minimum score as if they are the same metric. The current official admission policy clearly uses different components and weights for shortlist and final selection.

3) Waitlist status, final offers and final admits

This is where MBA-ABM behaves differently from what many students expect from flagship MBA pages.

Batch Waitlist status in RTI reply Interpretation for students
2025-27 No waitlist is generated. Read final offers and admits directly; no separate waitlist movement table is available.
2024-26 No waitlist is generated. Again, no waitlist movement depth was shown.
2023-25 Waitlist data not maintained. Historic waitlist movement cannot be reliably built from this RTI reply.
Final offers

Total offers issued

  • 2025-27: 267
  • 2024-26: 239
  • 2023-25: 337
Final admitted students

Total final admits shown in RTI

  • 2025-27: 57
  • 2024-26: 59
  • 2023-25: 63
Use this page carefully: for MBA-ABM, waitlist-based forecasting is weaker because recent RTI replies do not provide conventional waitlist movement tables. For this programme, final offers + final admits + minimum final score are often more useful than searching for waitlist depth.

Data gap in 2023-25 RTI: stream-wise split was not maintained, final score data was not maintained, and waitlist data was not maintained. So for 2023-25, the page can reliably use shortlist score, offers and admitted counts, but not a proper final-score or waitlist-depth comparison.

FAQ

Only the practical questions students actually ask.

Is IIM Lucknow PGP-ABM the same as MBA-ABM?

Yes for practical admission-content purposes. The official website now presents the programme as MBA-ABM, while historic RTI replies may still use PGP-ABM.

Should I focus more on waitlist movement or final score for MBA-ABM?

For this programme, final score, final offers and final admitted counts are often more useful than waitlist forecasting because the 2024-26 and 2025-27 RTI replies say no waitlist was generated.

Does work experience help in IIM Lucknow MBA-ABM admission?

In the current official policy, work experience has zero weight at shortlist stage and no weight in the final MBA-ABM score. So students should not assume MBA-ABM behaves like flagship MBA on this point.

Why do the RTI tables look different across batches?

Because the RTI replies were not identical across years. Some years split PwD subcategories in more detail, some years did not maintain final score data, and some years explicitly stated that no waitlist was generated.

Need this same RTI format for other IIMs too?

This page is structured for MBA RTI search intent: shortlist score first, final score second, offers and admits next, and then batch-wise detail below.
